About Me

“I am a human being first; therapist second.” ~ Nina

Hello, I’m Nina, an Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). With 20 years of post-qualification experience, I offer counselling and psychotherapy sessions tailored to your individual needs at my private practice in Wallington, Surrey, UK.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, including different ages, ethnicities, genders, and experiences. I have supported adults, children, teenagers, couples, families, and older clients in schools, counselling centres, cancer centres, universities, and private practice. I have a particular interest in working with adopted families, neurodiverse clients (ADHD & ASD), and LGBTQIA+ individuals who have experienced trauma or relational difficulties during childhood.

My Approach:

My approach is facilitative and collaborative. I work with you to ensure you always have autonomy and choice over the pace, content, and depth of our work together. I practice Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, combining techniques from multiple therapy models to suit your unique needs.

Therapy is client-led and holistic, focusing not only on what works, but why it works. Central to my practice is the therapeutic relationship. It is at the heart of every session and essential to meaningful change.

I offer sessions:

  • Face-to-face at my private practice in Wallington, Surrey.
  • Online via Zoom, WhatsApp video, or telephone.
  • Hybrid sessions combining face-to-face and online.

Sessions can be short-term, long-term, single session, or time-limited, and I accept clients with Aviva and AXA and WPA insurance cover. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate for working with children and adults.

Clinical Supervision:

As an Integrative Clinical Supervisor (Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals & Groups), I provide supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists in one-to-one or group settings, primarily online via Zoom.

I support supervisees through reflection and growth, helping you strengthen your skills, build confidence, and evolve as a practitioner. My supervision approach is guided by the “seven-eyed” model and embraces the 4 C’s: Competence, Confidence, Compassion, and Creativity.

I also guide therapists through the BACP and NCPS accreditation processes, whether you trained outside the UK or are newly qualified.
